Img2icns for Mac

This is a nice little utility and you can't really beat free. It needs to be noted though that it is a very old application from 2009 and that the software publisher has a newer application called Image2icon which is listed in the Mac App store. if you like this program and find it someday does not work in a new version of Mac OS, you're going to have to switch. This is verifiable as if you use the About img2icns in the Apple menu from this application and click the url listed there, it will take you to the web page for the new application where it will link you to the download page in the Mac App Store.

Can't imagine doing my art without it. Coming from a Windows which showed what was in the folder by using an actual photo of the contents -- to a Mac that shows only the blue folder, it was impossible to have a comfortable workflow without Img2icns. I use it daily to show what folder has what image. It's quick & easy to use.

Great program. phantastic tool! each map has it own icon now ...a small tool that big thinks do!!!I'm very satisfied aboutgrmarc
